♡ R E C I P E S ♡

Crockpot Chicken and Veggies
(serves 2)
Layer into a crockpot the following ingredients
10 small red potatoes, washed and cut in half
1 lb/4 peices bone in chicken thighs or breasts (bone in will have more flavor!)
1 16 oz package of baby carrots
1 16 oz package of trimmed green beans
Top with liquid: Either chicken stock with spices or homemade sauce (1/3c katsup, 1/3c honey, ¼c low sodium soy sauce, 3 cloves fresh chopped garlic, ½ tsp red chili flakes, and pepper)
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours

White Bean Pasta (Vegan)
(serves 2)
Prepare pasta according to package
Heat 2 tbs of olive oil over medium heat and add 4-6 cloves of fresh chopped garlic, ½-1 tsp of red chili flakes, salt, pepper and one can of rinsed cannellini (white kidney) beans.
Gently stir in pasta and allow to warm for a couple minutes + serve with parsley.

Veggie Fajitas (Vegan)
(serves 4)
Saute 1 onion, 4 bell peppers, and 2 Portobello mushrooms over medium-high heat, covered until tender. Add spices – chili powder, lemon pepper, cumin, salt and pepper and fresh chopped garlic.
Put veggie mix into warmed tortillas or paleo wraps and top with avocado, cilantro, lime juice. You can also add black beans and rice if you’d like.
Paleo Wraps – I get these at my local health food store.

Cajun Style Foil Bake
(serves 2)
1/2 White Onion Chopped
10 Small Red Potatoes Quartered
2 Corn Cobs, cut into thirds
2 Precooked Spicy Chicken Sausage Diced
10 Pieces Raw Shrimp (shell on or off)
White Wine or Chicken Stock (3 tbs per foil pocket)
Old Bay Seasoning
Put all ingredients into two foil pockets and seal closed. Bake in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes.

    The second one isn't healthy at all…
    Pasta is a carb
    Beans are carbs
    Oil is fat

    No vegetables at all, barely proteins…
