Indian kids menu (Part 2) | Indian Recipes for kids | Healthy Indian food for kids
In this video I am sharing with you an Indian kids menu including healthy snacks for children for a day that my kids followed today.My son is 5 and daughter is 22 months old.They eat pretty much a balanced meal through out the day.The recipes for Indian kids healthy meal plan are described in detail below.
Indian KIDS MENU FOR TODAY:
Kidney bean/Rajma stuffed idlis with almond dip
Stuffing for idlis
Saute onions tomatoes with masala powder, chopped tomatoes and boiled kidney beans and and when it turns mushy,we can stop cooking.in the idli pan,take half spoonful of idli dosa batter ,the kidney bean stuffing and fill another spoon of the idli dosa batter and cook it 7-8 mins like regular idlis and I served it with almond dip bought from Costco
Mid morning snack
Banana with cocoa powder sprinkled
This was a very tasty way to eat bananas and made it feel like a desert and is an indian healthy snack for toddlers and kids
Dal rice mix ,cucumber slices and healthy kurkure bhindi
Masoor dal recipe is a simple one with chopped up onions tomatoes garlic and the masala powders and I add the rice to mix it with the dal
kurkure bhindi is a very tasty healthy recipe made on the airfryer and kids love to have it with me lunch.
for the ladies finger coating:
mix besan red chilli powder salt pomegranate powder cumin powder and oil and coat it on the ladies finger and fry in airfryer at 190degree f for 10-15 mins
quick School snack
Strawberries with tops dipped in whipped cream
milk , walnuts and jaggery dosa
melt jaggery with water and add whole wheat flour, chia seeds and cashew nuts and make like pancakes using little ghee
Indian veg pasta and slice of cheese
make pasta according to directions.
Saute onion tomatoes with masala powder along with corn , carrots and add soem ketchup , water and add the paneer at atlast.
Finally add the pasta into the gravy ,add some water and let the flavors blend well..The dinner was served with a slice of cheese.
