Yes, soy/tofu is a great food for transitioning to a healthier vegan diet especially if you stay away from the processed food and make your own tofu dishes like you have done. Great recipes. You can even go one step further and cook without the oil, which is super easy to do. I have just started making healthy vegan recipe videos, cooked & raw, would love some support, I'm trying to get to 100 subs ๐Ÿ˜Š

I love tofu so much, but I grew up eating it in traditional Japanese food, so it's fun to explore different ways of preparing it. I really want to try your tofu scramble recipe. By the way, have you been to Meiji Tofu, an artisanal tofu producer, in Gardena? They make my favorite tofu, okara, and soy milk in the city. They also sell their tofu at Marukai, Tokyo Central, Seiwa, and some artisanal grocery stores. I think my favorite way of eating it is in green bean shira-ae. You grind up sesame seeds and tofu. Then mix in a little soy sauce, miso paste, and sugar. Toss in some cooked green beans or any veg you like. It's super delicious.

  12. This video was great (as always). I loved adding in the research and all the recipes looked amaze. I just had a question about the cheese. Because it has raw tofu, if you use it for things, like straight dipping, how long should you cook it?

  13. Toufu scramble, preferably southwest style is one of my faves, but I've also found myself loving them in dishes with a base like stir fry and curry! It absorbs the flavors so well!
